Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into Cinerama with on-site cos-players and Funko activations
In the wake of Avengers: Endgame comes the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Spider-Man: Far From Home. The second installment in Marvel’s Spider-Man film franchise sees Tom Holland return as Peter Parker next to Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio and Zendaya as MJ.
And it’s coming to Cinerama, from July 5!
That is nothing new. Of course we’re going to screen one of the most anticipated comic book movies of the year. What you don’t know is all the fun that will surround the film at our lovely downtown theater.

For opening night, we’ll have four…count ‘em…four cosplayers on-site for the film. The group will be taking photos with fans and generally getting everyone more excited for the web-slinging madness they’ll be about to enjoy at Seattle’s best theater. The cosplayers will be at Cinerama prior to the 6pm and 945pm showtimes on opening night (July 5).
But wait…there’s more!
Our friends at Original Funko will be at the theater with plenty of giveaways and photo opportunities for movie-goers, including a life-size Funko Pop box that you can walk inside and create your best Spidey pose (with or without the cosplayers)!
With Funko, we’re giving also giving away Pop! figurines to movie-goers through opening weekend in certain rows and seats in the theater. The Pop!s are brand new and featuring characters from the Far From Home. And be sure to check out their original trailer for the movie!
So finish your leftover hot dogs and hamburgers and get down to Cinerama a bit earlier on Friday and enjoy all the fun with us ahead of the film. Trust us, your spider-sense will be tingling!
