Our Holiday Film Series is here!

Prepare yourselves for the most magical of yuletide cinema with our latest festive collection of films.

By Cinerama Staff

Seasons greetings, cinephiles! Do we ever have a film series for you.

Our Holiday Film Series, a collection of some of the top classics in wintery movie history, opens on December 14 at Seattle Cinerama. Sandwiched between two epics in their own right, Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, this series will feature something for everyone in the family at the most magical time of year.

Opening with Tom Hanks’ fan favorite The Polar Express, the Holiday Film Series celebrates some of the best in the festive genre. Gremlins, Elf, and White Christmas follow, all providing a unique spin on the films that we love to get all cozy and watch around the fire. The timeless It’s A Wonderful Life gets its wings, too, of course, during the series.

The hits don’t end there though as Bill Murray’s beloved Scrooged screens on December 15, followed by Bad Santa the next day and rounding out the series is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on the 17th. And yes, Rusty is still in the navy.

So gather kith and kin and make your way down to our lovely theater in the center of town and stop in for a holiday treat that we just couldn’t wait to share with you. Full lineup of films with dates and times can be found below!
